Update

Thank you for making our first blood drive a huge success! We exceeded the goal the Red Cross set for us by collecting 40 pints and we had 10 first time donors here on Thursday. The Red Cross explained that it is very unusual to have such a high percentage of first time donors and means there are even more opportunities in this area to get more people in the habit of donating blood regularly.

A special thanks to our youth, they provided the 5-star Canteen service for all of the donors. Thank you to anyone who told a neighbor or friend about the blood drive. It was because of all of you that this blood drive was such a great experience.

The American Red Cross will be here in our fellowship area on Thursday, February 18th from 2 pm - 7:30 pm. Volunteers are needed before the 18th to spread to word to the community, schedule, give reminder calls and provide snacks for the canteen. On the day of the drive, volunteers are needed to setup, register donors, cover the canteen and help with breakdown. Don't forget you can save a life by donating blood too.
