Community Bible Study

Date:
Repeats every week until Sun Jun 06 2010 .
January 6, 2010 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Come join a non-denominational group that will be studying Nehemiah and working toward becoming an evening Community Bible Study (CBS) class here in the Clayton area.

The mission of Community Bible Study (CBS) is to make disciples of Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible Study available to all. It uses a four-part method: 1) Personal Study, 2) A group discussion guided by a trained leader, 3) a lecture covering the material, and 4) a written commentary to review and clarify.

CBS is non-denominational, with the leadership of each class coming from the local area and representing a broad cross section of the Christian community. CBS leaders are volunteers, called by God, who love the Lord and His Word.

CBS makes every effort to stand in the center of mainstream, historic Christianity. We concentrate on the essentials of the Christian faith, not on denominational distinctives. As we grow in our love and respect for one another, we learn that Christians can hold differing views on matters that are not essential to salvation. Regardless of these differences, we learn to love and care for each other as we grow in our knowledge of the Bible and in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
